magic spark

Friday, June 16th, 2006

Staring at nothingness while sipping mocha cappucino and smoking Marlboro lights, sadness gnawed at her heart again. A bout of homesickness revealing its symptoms. The city’s skyline illuminated in the darkness of the night. She was about to cry when from a distance there’s a splendid display of colorful sparks from fireworks. Ironic, she thought. But it made her smile then. The firework display brightened her gloomy disposition.

No matter how dark it may be, somewhere out there an unexpected spark or even just a little gleam of light will really show up.

sa makasabot lang…

40 hours awake! whew! i felt like a robot already…thanks to awop though i was able to make bawi my previous fave hobby..hehehe..now that my mind is clear, ive come to cherish this past 2 days spent with friends…the lack of sleep is nothing compared to the opportunity of spending time together, strolling around and keeping up with each other’s life…

SATURDAY June 3, 2006

Macy’s pre-birthday celeb and our most coveted reunion with Lelex. We met at Mall of Asia and ate at Ted’s. Kaso lang mahal man uy, tag 25 ra man gud batchoy sa Michael’s then preho ra sad kalami. :> Chika to the max and we got wasted touring the MOA area. The kangaragan led us to cross that wide highway and ask for a guard to even assist us, as if we’re old ladies, just to discover we have to ride a taxi to find an uncrowded Yellow Cab store. Toink! Our search for a place to eat pizza with a serene ambiance led us to PeopleSupport Center. And after the meal, we sat and talked some more at Starbucks. I had to load myself with a grande Caffe Americano or else…Then they have to leave for LB and I reported directly for work 2 hours early…It felt like I was flying but it was more because of the elation of knowing one has real friends plus you get to be with them…

SUNDAY June 4, 2006

This was my utol’s day. Gregg woke me up with a pinch. I was trying to recover lost sleep (I had 4 hours sleep then, from 8am-12nn) but the scent of pizza woke me up. Gregg and Perry visited our unit all the way from their respective locations. Good thing they have their own cars. After the chika session we decided to enjoy videoke at Providence. We only went home after singing a grand total of 49 songs which was of different variety. I was glad hearing my utols sing their hearts out and they were really good at it. Thanks to Gregg, Perry, Enen and Jones, I had a grand time even if my voice was hoarse already.:>

So here I am right now, still cant stop myself from smiling with gratefulness for  the fellowship with real and true friends. And thanks guys I really enjoyed it!
